The Korean International Trade Association provides significant logistical support and hosts a visit to their Seoul offices where youth ambassadors have the opportunity to enjoy sweeping views of Seoul; and, more importantly, learn about the essential work and achievements KITA advances and also discuss the importance of Korea-US relations.

Korean Air significantly assists us with arrangements for round-trip travel to Korea.
Jeongbuk International Cooperation Agency

Jeongbuk International Cooperation Agency’s Director introduces students to the historical significance of Jeongbuk State and its many achievements. Further, JBICA arranges an array of opportunities for the group to experience the beauty of the Chosun time period by visiting historical sites and engaging in craft-making. They make possible a visit to Jeongbuk Foreign Language High School where students visit classes, engage with students, and learn traditional Korean games as well as provide a Temple stay.
CKD Kochon Educational Foundation

The CKD Kochon Educational Foundation hosts students at its Memorial Hall, organizing discussions in which students to learn about the rich history of the pharmaceutical industry in Korea and engage in hands-on workshops. They also arrange a highly interactive visit with Daedong Taxation High School teachers and students. Additionally, throughout the year they provides significant support for programming offered by the Education Department.

Center for a Unified Korea Future

The Center for a Unified Korea Future introduces youth ambassadors to the ongoing efforts and outlook for North and South unification. Students engage in many interactive activities at the Center, stand on the original DMZ line, hear lectures from the National Institute for Peace, Unification and Democracy Education as well as meet and talk with North Korean immigrants.
HD Hyundai

HD Hyundai prepares an exhilarating tour of its facilities. The tour of the shipbuilding yard is eye-opening given its size and scope and provides the youth ambassadors with many facts about shipbuilding.
Hyundai Motor Company

Hyundai Motor Company offers educational tours of their facilities and campuses. Students first explore the history of Chung Ju-yung and his unique and critical impact on Korea’s economic development as well as the evolution of the Company. And, they have the exciting opportunity to see cars being both assembled and shipped.
National Institute for Peace, Unification, and Democracy Education

The National Institute for Peace, Unification and Democracy Education has hosted us at their Seoul campus offering lectures and meetings with North Korean immigrants. It currently partners with the Center for a Unified Korea Future on programming to ensure our youth ambassadors have a strong understanding of their work and the importance of the U.S. role in promoting peace.
POSCO

POSCO provides an exciting range of activities that include tours of their museums and engaging hands-on and virtual reality activities. Students learn not only about the history of the steel industry in Korea but also current domestic and artistic uses for steel that they had no idea existed. Further, POSCO arranges for students to tour POSTECH, a modern and high-tech university, and engage with students.
Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs

The International Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs hosts a curated visit to the War Memorial of Korea where the students learn more about the considerable sacrifices made by so many during the Korean War and the hopes for a future peaceful unification. Further, MPVA shares information with the students on their wide-ranging programs and initiatives.
Yeungnam University and Museum and the Wooree Center for Korean Ritual and Cultural Heritage

Yeungnam University and Museum in conjunction with the Wooree Center for Korean Ritual and Cultural Heritage host the students’ visit. Youth Ambassadors tour the grounds and with the support of the Museum and the Wooree Center for Korean Ritual and Cultural Heritage have the very special and unique experience of participating in a Coming of Age ceremony.
