The Korea Society President & CEO Abraham Kim recently returned from a 1.5-week visit to Seoul, where he met with key business and government leaders and accompanied the Congressional Study Group on Korea (CSGK) on its visit to the Republic of Korea.
The engagement provided U.S. congressional leaders with firsthand insight into Korea’s security, political, economic, and societal landscape, while creating opportunities to exchange perspectives and explore new areas of partnership between the United States and Korea.
During the visit, discussions focused on critical areas of cooperation, including shipbuilding, energy, and technology. The delegation also engaged with the next generation of leaders at Ewha Womans University, experienced Korean baseball, and connected with Korean American chef Edward Lee, highlighting the importance of cultural exchange and people-to-people connections.
Through these meaningful exchanges, President Kim emphasized The Korea Society’s continued role as a bridge between the United States and Korea—bringing together leaders, fostering mutual understanding, and supporting future collaboration and leadership development.
